When finding yourself at a crossroads in life, try quieting the noise and listen to what is occupying your thoughts. Maybe there is something that was unfinished or incomplete. Perhaps it is a dream not followed or is yet to be fulfilled. If the same theme continues to show up, notice your subconscious call to action. When finding yourself repeating old patterns, look closely to the choices made. Life’s mirror is full of wisdom when we are ready to learn from it.
If you want to know what you deeply believe, simply take a moment and look at your life. It’s a reflection in a perfect but invisible mirror of the beliefs you hold at your deepest, soulful level. Who and what you choose to have in your inner circle; friends, family, work, hobbies, possessions, opportunities and yes, even your challenges. Life’s mirror is reflecting back to you – your feelings, your actions, and your thoughts. Notice what you are choosing when creating your current life experience.
If you‘re looking to change your experience, one way you can do this is to use your life-mirror as a bridge to life’s polarities. Really, this is very much about being the change you want to see in your world – it starts with you!
If it’s love you want – then be loving
If you want to be trusted – then be trustworthy
If you want deeper relationships – then communicate
If you want to be understood – then seek to understand
If you want more abundance – then be generous
If you want more joy – then be joyful
When traversing change, being mindful to which stage of life resonates most for you may help to influence your path. We all make choices that feel right for the time of life that we are in. The universe has a lovely way of reminding us when something is wanting our attention. Why, where and what we choose to spend our time and energy on shows itself quite clearly within each of the stages in the graphic below.
The lens through which we view the world changes as we change. What felt right once may no longer feel right any more. That’s okay! On the flip side, what may not have felt right once may in fact be the right fit now. As we traverse through our individual Stages of Life, the journey and experience will change as we learn, grow and change.
Some questions you might ask yourself:
- Who am I being today?
- Are my passions & desires in alignment with my current reality?
- Am I creating my Legacy with intention?
Using life’s mirror to reflect back to you as a means to understand not only who you are today, but who you were, will help to influence your call to action.
“You do not see the world as it is. You see it as you are.”
